What are the sizes?
Kaethe Maerz works with intermediate and double sizes respectively: 36.38 / 38.40/ 40.42/ 42.44/ 44.46
If you are a size 38, decide whether you are a size 38 with a tendency to size 40 or rather to size 36. You can then choose either size 36.38 or 38.40.
We apply the traditional German measurements. Therefore our cuts are slightly more generous than currently common on the market.
Payment
We only deliver after advance payment. All payments have to be made in Euro.
You can either pay by bank transfer or by PayPal.
Please note that bank transfers within Germany can take up to three working days depending on your financial institution. You will receive the payment details in a confirmation email after placing your order.
Production and Materials
Kaethe Maerz only produces in Germany to guarantee fair working conditions, to ensure the best possible quality and to avoid unnecessary transport.
The materials and products are of high quality and are produced with high regard and awareness for our resources and the environment. Detailed material information can be found in the respective product description.
The care and wash instructions are sewn into the product.
Delivery times
Delivery times can vary from 2 days to a maximum of 14 days depending on whether the product is in stock or whether it has to be produced.

Delivery times are only binding if they are communicated in writing by the vendor.
Shipping
We ship our products insured for a nominal fee of EUR5.60 via DPD.
The delivery commitment only applies to the deliveries and services communicated in writing by the vendor. Customs duties, consulate fees and any other taxes, charges and fees raised according to provisions outside of the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as of any other cost incurred in that regard will be borne by the customer.
Exchange
You are entitled to return your order within two weeks from receipt of the order. Kaethe Maerz will only bear the costs for the return postage in case of an incorrect or faulty delivery, otherwise the customer has to pay for the return postage. The delivery fee for the replacement item is to be paid by the vendor.

Ordering Process
You place an order in our shop by adding an item to the shopping cart. Go the shopping cart -> click on “Buy”
Enter name and address
Choose your billing address and payment method, accept the General Terms of Sale and the Terms of Delivery -> click on “Buy”
Once you have completed your order, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your order as well as the order details (Acknowledgement of Receipt).
A contract of sale is only entered upon delivery of your order.
Revocation/Withdrawal from the order
You can retract your order within two weeks in writing by email. The timely dispatch of the retraction or the item suffices the retraction period. The retraction has to be addressed to: kat@kaethemaerz.de
Consequences of Revocation
In the case of an effective revocation the mutually received benefits are to be returned. In case you are unable to reimburse us either in total or partially for services received, you are required to offer compensation of equal value. This does not apply if the deterioration of the merchandise has been checked like it is possible in a shop. In other respects you can avoid the obligation to compensate for deterioration due to the utilisation of the good as intended by not using the goods as if they were your property and by refraining from doing anything that could impair their value. Any merchandise eligible for shipping will be returned at our risk. You have to bear the costs of the return if the delivered goods conform with the ordered goods. Reimbursement of payments has to take place within 30 days. The period begins with the transmission of your revocation or the goods, for us with their reception.

Prices
All prices are stated in Euro. All prices are inclusive of the compulsory value-added-tax of currently 19%. The included value-added-tax is listed separately. Shipping costs are to be added to that amount.
Warranty
We guarantee that the goods supplied are free from material and production defects. Are parts of the delivery defective, then the vendor can choose either removal of the defect or delivery of goods which are free from defects (supplementary performance). The customer shall afford the vendor the required time and opportunity to eliminate defects at the vendor’s reasonable discretion. If he refuses to do so, the vendor is released from liability for the defects. In case the defects are not remedied within a reasonable time or if the
repairs fail to remedy the defects, the customer is entitled to reduce the purchase price in accordance with § 441 BGB or to withdraw from the contract. In the absence of any binding statutory provisions to the contrary customer claims in respect to defects shall become time-barred after two years from taking delivery. No liability shall be accepted for normal wear and tear. The guarantee does not apply to damages caused by the customer’s improper handling or measures contrary to the contract.
